Officer –
Accounting Services

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills in:

• Assist in the operation of work files and NAV calculation for funds
• Update the fund system with respect to subscription, redemption and transfer of shares of investors
• Assist in ensuring good working relation with investment managers and investment advisors of funds
• Respond to clients’ inquiries – under supervision – whether by telephone or in writing timely
• Liaise with local authorities, local and international banks, and other service providers
• Assist Accountants during Audit process
• Complete all work in line with the company’s standard procedures
• Prepare monthly cashbook
• Assist in preparation of management accounts
• Assist in preparing financial statements
• Update accounts of GBC companies, Authorised Companies, Domestic Companies, Trust and Foundations
• Assist in income tax computation and filing with required authorities
• Any other reasonable duties assigned to you by Management

Who are we looking for?

• Degree in Accounting or any other relevant fields
• At least 2-3 years of working accounting experience within a Management Company
• Partly ACCA qualified will be an advantage

Additional competencies that might work in you favour:

• Proficiency in written and spoken communication in both English and French
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel
• Strong critical thinking skills to effectively execute action plans
• Proactive, solution-oriented, reliable and committed
• Strong organisational and ability to multi-task
