Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and driving standards of excellence?

We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing and upholding policies and procedures that meet government standards.

You will also organise employee trainings and disciplinary measures as required, and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure adherence to local regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Oversight: Assist in the day-to-day compliance functions of client companies, ensuring all records are up to date.
  • File Reviews & Remediation: Conduct periodic reviews of client files and remediate record-keeping statuses to meet strict regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Risk Assessments & Screening: Perform thorough screenings and client risk assessments—both at onboarding and during periodic reviews—compiling the findings into detailed screening reports.
  • Audit Preparation: Compile and analyse internal and external data to prepare comprehensive compliance audit reports.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute quality assurance checks to ensure operational processes and internal controls remain uncompromised.
  • AML/CFT Frameworks: Review AML requirements, support the implementation of AML systems and controls, and assist in drafting and updating compliance policies and procedures.
  • Training & Client Support: Coordinate and deliver compliance training sessions, and act as a knowledgeable resource to help clients navigate regulatory requirements and responsibilities.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Act as a point of contact for queries from regulatory bodies, working closely with management.

Who are we looking for?

  • Education: A Degree in Law, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of experience in compliance, banking, or financial services.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of data protection laws, regulations, and AML/CFT frameworks.
  • Core Skills: Problem-solving abilities, solution-oriented mindset, and customer-centric focus.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
